RIVA privacy

Your room stays your room.

RIVA is designed so your rug photos, room photos, cutouts, and projects stay on your iPhone or iPad.

Effective August 2, 2026

The short version.

  • RIVA does not collect personal data, photos, usage data, or identifiers.
  • There is no account, advertising SDK, analytics SDK, cloud model, or image-processing server.
  • Images leave the app only when you explicitly choose an export destination.

Photos and camera.

You can choose rug and room images with Apple’s system photo picker or take new photos with the camera. RIVA accesses only the images you choose. It requests permission to add a finished visualization to Photos only when you ask it to save one there.

On-device processing.

Rug isolation, edge cleanup, perspective correction, room analysis, color adjustment, compositing, and export are performed locally with Apple system frameworks. RIVA does not upload image content for processing.

Local storage and deletion.

Projects you save are stored inside RIVA’s app container. You can delete a project from the Projects tab. Removing RIVA removes its local app data. A copy you explicitly export remains in the destination you selected and under your control.

Apple services.

If you choose to share device analytics or crash information with Apple, Apple may provide aggregated or diagnostic information under its own privacy terms. RIVA does not add a separate diagnostics or telemetry service.

Changes and contact.
