The short version.
- No account, ads, analytics SDK, or behavioral tracking.
- Your playlists, favorites, categories, and cached channel data stay on your device.
- Streams load directly from the URLs contained in the playlists you provide.
Playlist information.
When you add an M3U or M3U8 URL, osIPTV stores that URL and the parsed playlist data locally on your device. Threadmark does not receive, copy, or have access to your playlist.
Playback requests.
Your device connects directly to the playlist and stream hosts you choose. Those third-party hosts may receive standard network information such as your IP address and request headers under their own privacy practices. Threadmark does not proxy those requests.
Data stored on your device.
Playlist names, URLs, channel metadata, categories, and favorites remain in the app’s local storage. Removing a playlist or deleting osIPTV removes the corresponding locally stored app data, subject to iOS and iPadOS backup behavior.
